Someone debonair is charming or suave. They have good manners, and they probably look good too.
This French word has a fancy feel to it, and it is a fancy kind of word. Being debonair is a specific form of being charming that applies mostly to men. When you’re debonair, you impress women, other men, and pretty much everyone with your manners, wit, and style. Debonair a little bit of an old-fashioned word. The very mention of the word debonair used to send me into giggles. You see I had once had something done called a “lexigram” and I discovered that my lexigram name is DEBONAIR. This will change when I marry depending on if I hyphenate or don’t hyphenate. A lexigram is when the letters of your name are used to form words. The words formed by the letters in your name are then able to form sentences. It is a very interesting study. If you are ever looking for a way to waste an hour or two this may prove to be very enlightening for some.
Now for something else funny. Did you know that my name contains the words AD IN BRAIN. I think this is why I always appear to be such an AdWoman. I actually was an Advertising Executive for many years. I even won a free trip to Hawaii with my daughter because I created the most new business accounts for a Career Builder contest many moons ago. The Sentence “Adrienne no bird brain” is also in my name. So trust me. I am divinely covered because my name contains NO. It helps to offset any possible issues.
I have crazy island superstitions that have come down from my grandmother who was filled to the brim with old cautions and old wives tales. Little metaphysical things like checking the lexigramed words in your name is interesting and informative to do. I particularly found a great place to do any name or sentence for free. Go to: http://www.scrabblemania.net/ to try your very own lexigram.
